…Feeds Primary School Students in Oron
Wife of the Oron Local Government Chairman, Mrs. Arit Etim has stated that giving back to the society is her priority.
The Chairman’s wife stated this on Tuesday, November 5, at her visit to St. Andrew’s Primary School, Idua Assang, Oron Local Government Area to feed primary school students in the area.
“There is nothing greater to centre our focus in this world than beginning to understand just how much we have to be grateful for”, she said, adding that such gratefulness results in giving to people who are less fortunate than ourselves.
“You can give back in different ways, by giving money or giving your time. No matter how you do it, giving back to your community will touch many people’s lives”, the Chairman’s wife noted.
“Whether it’s volunteering at a local event, helping a neighbor or making a monetary donation, it’s not the act that matters. Even the tiniest good deed can ignite change and positively impact the community by providing a renewed sense of hope”, She stated.
This initiative of feeding the primary school students in Oron Local Government Area is in partnership with Otwist Event, an event management company in Uyo.
The initiative which was sponsored by Mrs. Arit Etim, has fed no fewer than 500 students in the area and also featured presentation of wrappers and other valuable items to the teachers.
