… Drums Continuous Support for Governor Udom Emmanuel
The Special Assistant on Research and Documentation to Governor Udom Emmanuel, Prince Emmanuel Nicholas Okokon, on Sunday, February 2, handed over a borehole water project to Nung Oyung community in Nung Oku Uruan, Central Uruan Ward 3, Uruan Local Government Area.
The project which is the Aides’ fourth (4th) portable water donated to the community was presented by Prince Okokon, who urged the community to continue supporting the State Governor, Mr Udom Emmanuel, saying, the water project would not have been possible if not for the State Chief Executive.
He stressed the importance of the project to the community, noting that water was one of the most important God-given natural resources.

“Please take this water project as the reward of your support to my boss; His Excellency, Mr Udom Emmanuel… Those who would take care of this water should ensure that it is well maintained so that it will serve you and others for a long time,” said Okokon.
WHITE BOM BOM reiterated his commitment and dedication to the improvement of the welfare of communities and provision of basic and social infrastructure, not just in his Ward, but across the eleven wards in Uruan.
Mr. Asuquo Uko, PDP Ward Chairman of Central Uruan Ward 3, and other residents commended the governor’s aide for the gesture.
Similarly, the Ward Chairman noted that water was a very important need of the community, stressing that the project would reduce the problem of the people.
“With the provision of this water, I want to say that a big problem has been solved in this community. May God bless Governor Udom Emmanuel for re-appointing you. We are confident that since you did not fail us during the governor’s first term, you would continue in your good work in this second term”, Mr Uko said.
Other people who showed gratitude assured that the facility will be used for the purpose it’s meant for to the benefit of all.
