The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) at its 86th National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting on Thursday June 20, increased the Party’s cost of governorship form to N20m against N5m.
The meeting which was held at the Party’s national secretariat in Abuja, had the Party’s Spokesperson, Kola Ologbondiyan, saying that the reviewed cost of the nomination form was as a result of the rising cost of electoral materials, printing and logistics.
Ologbondiyan told newsmen that the proceeds from sales of the forms “will help the party cover the cost of conducting free and fair primaries for contestants”.
