The March edition of the monthly sanitation exercise will hold on Saturday, March 28,2020.

A statement by the Commissioner for Information and Communication, Sir Charles Udoh, on Friday, March 26, has it that there will be restriction of human and vehicular movements across the State between 7 and 10 a.m.

“Residents and citizens are advised to localize their environmental sanitation activities to their immediate environment while adhering to strict Personal and Respiratory Hygiene guidelines earlier announced in the fight against COVID 19”, it reads.

“It is also important to continue to observe SOCIAL DISTANCING, avoid shaking hands, and embracing, and keep at least six feet distance from anyone who is sneezing or coughing”, the statement adds, stating further that “Officials of Government, Law Enforcement Agents and Waste Evacuation Workers will be on patrol to monitor the exercise, enforce compliance and promptly evacuate waste materials generated”.
