NUJ National Leadership Arrive A’Ibom for Patrick Albert’s Farewell

The Leadership of Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) in the Nigeria have arrived Akwa Ibom State from Abuja to celebrate with Elder Patrick Albert on the occasion of the Colloquium and session of tributes designed to honour him and his exco.

The event, slated for Wednesday, July 31, by 10am at Watbridge Hotel and suites, Uyo already has the national President of the NUJ, Comrade Chris Isiguzo and his Secretary, Mr Shuaibu Usman Leman, in Uyo.

The NUJ Vice President, Zone F, Comrade Edward Ogude is also in town with other State Council Chairmen across the Country expected to on Wednesday morning.

Prof. Effiong Johnson of the Faculty of Arts, University of Uyo will serve as the Chairman of the Colloquium/Session of tributes and luncheon, while Dr Aniekan Brown of the same institution will serve as the Guest Speaker.

Among the dignitaries expected are the Oku Ibom of Ibibio, His Eminence, Nteyin Solomon Etuk who is to serve as Royal Father of the day;  Commissioner for Works, Akparawa Ephraim Inyang as Grand Patron of NUJ, Akwa Ibom State Deputy Governor, Mr Moses Ekpo as Guest of Honour and the state Governor, Mr Udom Emmanuel as Special Guest of Honour.
