Yobe Workers Get Reduced Working Hours for Ramadan

The Governor of Yobe State, Ibrahim Gaidam, has approved the reduction of working hours for the state civil servants to enable them close on time and adequately prepare for the breaking of their fast.

This was announced by the spokesman to the State Civil Service Head, Hussaini Sule in Damaturu, on Wednesday, May 8.

Sule conveyed that the working hours for the period of Ramadan would now be from 8:00am to 3:00pm from Mondays to Thursdays, and end by 12:30pm on Fridays.

He also relayed the charge of Governor Gaidam to the people, to pray for peaceful coexistence in the state and the country at large, and his wish that they have a fruitful Ramadan.
