The Federal House of Representatives has for the second time, summoned President Muhammadu Buhari to give answers to the rising spate of insecurity in Nigeria.
This is coming less than three weeks after the House issued a query to the President in April 11, asking him to explain within 2 days, the spate of insecurity under his administration.
The Lawmakers at the plenary session held on Thursday, May 2, lamented and condemned in strong terms, the increasing insecurity in some parts of the country, and the laxity with which the executive and security agencies are showing it.

The House, through a motion raised by Hon. Ahmed Safana of Kaduna State, called on the Federal Government to intervene and stop the killing of innocent people, destruction of property, armed robbery and kidnapping by heavily armed bandits in Kaduna State.
Having deliberated so much on the Katsina killings and those of other states, the lawmakers reinvited the President Buhari to address them in 48 hours.
