Nigeria Deports 4 Ghanaians for False Identity

The Federal Government of Nigeria has deported 4 Ghanaian nationals on grounds of falsification of Nigerian identity.

A statement issued by the Ministry of foreign affairs on Thursday, May 30, indicates that the said 4 nationals were deported on March 22, 2019.

The release advises Ghanaians in Nigeria to ensure that they possess the needed legal requirement which qualifies them to reside in Nigeria.

Its states that the, legal requirement is in pursuant to the ECOWAS protocol A/P.1/5/79, relating to the free movement of persons, residence and establishment.

It also advises Ghanaians to abide by the laws of Nigeria to avoid any infraction of the laws of the country.
