FG Declares May 29 Public Holiday

The Federal Government has announced that Wednesday, May 29, will be work-free to commemorate the 2019 democracy day.

Speaking for the Federal Government on Monday, May 27, the Minister of Interior, Gen. Abdulrahman Dambazau, congratulated President Buhari on his re-election and advocated support for the agenda and policies of the incoming administration.

He also acknowledged the role played by Nigerans in the success of the 2019 elections, adding that the incoming administration’s policies would be aimed at improving the lives of citizens, ensuring unity and all-round growth and development of the country.

He wished Nigerians a pleasurable Presidential Inauguration Day, and the incoming administration, a successful tenure.
