The Commissioner for Information, Sir Charles Udoh has lauded the peaceful conduct of members of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Uyo ward 6, during the ward congress held on Saturday March 7, across the state.

Sir Charles Udoh gave the commendation at his home town while addressing party faithfuls who participated at the ward congress at St. Mary’s Primary School, Obio Offot in Uyo LGA of the state.

The Information Boss, himself a delegate of the Uyo Ward 6 Congress, expressed appreciation to the PDP members in his Community for always keeping faith with the Party and by extension the state government and urged them to safeguard the bond of unity amongst them as a cardinal element in the development and progress of the party and state in general.

He reiterated that the leader of the State, His Excellency Governor Udom Emmanuel working under the authority of PDP is interested in the peaceful coexistence and unity amongst party, faithful and indeed the entire people of Akwa Ibom State and urged all to imbibe the spirit of unity in all their activities.

While acknowledging that, the party is the bedrock of political development in the state, beginning from the unit  to the ward level, Udoh warned against any breath of hatred capable of dividing the party.

Expressing with pride, the achievements of the Governor Udom Emmanuel-led PDP government, the state Spokesman called for continuous prayers for the success of the party and the PDP government in the state.

He urged the party faithful to remain committed, loyal and dedicated to the party and indeed the government of the day, for more democratic dividends.

The State Information helmsman used the avenue to congratulate the newly elected PDP Ward executives and  expressed the confidence that they will deliver on their mandate.

The ward congress so far was peaceful across the eleven Wards of Uyo Local Government Area, conducted in line with Party set guidelines and attended massively by major stakeholders.
