A’Ibom Calls for Registration of Donor Agencies, Devt Partners, NGOs and CSOs

The Akwa Ibom State Government through the Department of Multilateral and Donor Agencies has called on Donors Agencies, Development Partners, Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) and Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) operating in the State to register with the State Ministry of Economic Development and Ibom Deep Seaport.

The call came on Tuesday, February 18, from the office of the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Multilateral and Donor Agencies, Ndiana-Abasi Udom.

The NGOs and CSOs, according to the SSA are expected to pick up registration forms in the Department of International Cooperation, Ministry of Economic Development and Ibom Deep Seaport, Phase II, Block 3, 2nd Floor, Room 83, Idongesit Nkanga Secretariat Complex, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.

He noted that it is mandatory for all International/Local NGOs and CSOs operating in the State to ensure that they comply with the directive before embarking on any intervention project for data management, effective partnership and proper sustainability, adding that the registration is free.
