Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, in a chat with newsmen on the eve of Tuesday, June 11, said that what happened in the past had been overtaken by the event of his emergence as the Deputy Senate President.

The Senator representing Delta State central Constituency emerged Deputy Speaker after defeating his opponent, Senator Ike Ekweremadu who held the position formerly.

“We all know what transpired in the past but what happened today has turned the page on 8th Senate and we have moved on to the 9th Senate”, Ono-Agege said.
