Ibeno People Overjoyed as Palliatives go House-House

Residents and indigenes of Ibeno Local Government Area in Akwa Ibom State were on Wednesday, April 22 overjoyed by the orderly distribution of food support from the state government at their doorsteps.

The distribution of food support which was carried out in the area by The Divine Mandate community service was conducted by the leadership of Mr. Essien Ndueso, Special Assistant to Governor Udom Emmanuel on Research and Rev. Richard Peters, his counterpart on media.

In the course of the distribution, the duo enlightened people of the area on the need to observe preventive measures against the global pandemic – COVID-19, adding that the lockdown was needful to curtail the spread, and momentary.

They stated that the State Governor, through the Divine Mandate community service, had directed the distribution of food items to them courtesy of his passion and care to ease their inconveniences while the lockdown lasts.

Responding separately, the people thanked the governor for his love and prayed God to endow him with more wisdom and strength to stir the State successfully through the prevalent hard times.
