President Muhammadu Buhari has said that the sacrifices of the late former President of Zimbabwe, Robert Mugabe, will be remembered by posterity.
The President said this in a condolence message to the family and country of the late ruler on Friday, August 6.
According to the Special Assistant to the President, Mr Femi Adesina, Buhari maintained that Mugabe’s sacrifices, especially in struggling for the political and economic emancipation of his people, will always be remembered by the people of Zimbabwe.

The President condoled Mugabe’s family, friends and political associates describing the late President as a political activist who fought for the independence of the country from colonial rule, and lived most of his life in public service, while praying God to grant his soul eternal rest.
Robert Mugabe was aged 95 as at the time of his death.
His death was announced earlier on Friday by the country’s President, Emmerson Mnangagwa.
