President Muhammadu Buhari has won the Saturday 23 Presidential elections in Osun State.
According to reports, the State Collation Officer, Professor Toyin Ogundipe, made this known at the INEC headquarters in Osogbo at about 12:25am on Monday, February 25, that Buhari scored 347,634 votes.
Ogundipe, the Vice-Chancellor of University of Lagos (UNILAG) gave the total number of registered voters as 1, 674, 729, and the total number of accredited voters as 732, 984, the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports.
The Vice-Chancellor said that the number of votes cast was 731,882 where 714,682 were valid and 17,200 were rejected.
Atiku Abubakar, the candidate of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) scored 337, 377 votes from the valid 714,682 votes.
