PPPRA Reacts to Queues at Fuel Stations

Following the increasing queues in fuel stations across the country, the Petroleum Products Pricing Regulatory Agency (PPPRA) has expressed concern on the seeming scarcity of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS).

Speaking on Sunday, April 14, through its Executive Secretary, Abdulkadir Saidu, the PPPRA debunked allegations that the product would be out of sales in no time, adding that there is enough supply of fuel for consumption.

The spokesman maintained that the agency which is responsible for regulating the supply and distribution of petroleum products, is also a repository for it.

“PPPRA, therefore, urges fuel consumers across the country to desist from panic buying as the agency would continue to monitor the supply situation and take every step required to ensure that there is no disruption in the supply chain,” the statement said.
