Following the discovery of his compromise on the collective objective of the group, the Ourmumudondo Youth Foundation has asked its convener and trustee member, Charles Oputa, also known as Charly Boy, to step aside as Chairman of the movement.
The instruction to step down as its Chairman is coming on the heels of a one minute, thirty seconds audio clip, released by a former member of the group, Deji Adeyanju during a rage conversation with Charly Boy.
In the said audio, Charly Boy could be heard consenting to have received money from Festus Keyamo, Spokesperson of President Muhammadu Buhari Presidential Campaign Organisation in the concluded presidential elections but debunked the allegation that he received the largess to attack Atiku Abubakar, presidential candidate of the peoples Democratic Party (PDP) before the 2019 presidential elections.
Sequel to this, the OurMumuDonDo movement in a meeting held on March, 22, demanded the immediate resignation of Charly Boy as its Chairman.
In a release signed by its National Secretary, Adebayo Rapheal, the movement asked Charly Boy to “step aside as a Trustee of the Foundation and as the convener of the OurMumuDonDo Movement within 24 hours starting from the moment” he receives the letter.
