Mr. Abdulahi Sabo, of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has been declared winner of the supplementary elections for Kuje Area Council in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

Platinum.ng recalls that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on March 9, pronounced the chairmanship election in the Area Council inconclusive due to electoral violence that ravaged some poling units in Rubochi and Kwaku.

INEC’s Returning Officer for the Area Council, Prof. Titus Ibekwe, who declared Sabo winner of the polls, said Sabo garnered the highest votes of 19, 090 to trounce his main challenger Mr. Abdulahi Galadima who is the incumbent chairman of the Council and candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who polled 15, 187.
