On Wednesday, May 1, two persons of the Ikeja Computer Village traders and Landlords Association were injured by hoodlums in Lagos.

Eyewitnesses have it that the hoodlums attacked the traders and landlords at the home entrance of the ‘Iyaloja’ (Women Leader), Mrs. Folashade Tinubu-Ojo, a day after their protest against the planned action to the State governor’s office.

Also Read: Russian Govt Announces Scholarship for Nigerians gathered from a source that the representatives of the traders and landlords had visited the home of the ‘Iyaloja’ to ask her to dismiss her plan to protest her installation as the ‘Iyaloja’ for the market at the Lagos State Governor’s Office until a better solution was reached.

“Just as they arrived the entrance of her gate, the hoodlums attacked and injured 2 of them. They injured Mr. Laja Adesanya and tore ‘Tallest’s clothes”.

Meanwhile, the ‘Iyaloja’ is reported to have said that she is tired of the general play-out of things in the Village, when she was contacted on the issue.
