Nigeria’s senior football team, Super Eagles, have arrived Egypt with their officials ahead of their group fixtures at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.
The team’s arrival was announced on their official Twitter page on Monday, June 16.
It reads: “We have arrived safely and soundly in Alexandria, at our Helnan Palestine Hotel camp where we will stay all through the group phase of our #TotalAFCON2019 campaign,” it read.
The team will conclude its outings against Madagascar on Sunday, June 30 after its fixture against Burundi on Saturday, June 22, and Guinea on Wednesday, June 26.
It would be recalled that Nigeria rounded off her preparation for the tournament, with a 1-0 defeat to Senegal on Sunday, June 16.
