The Nigeria Customs Service has opened its portal for the commencement of recruitment of 3, 200 officers.
This was made known by the Comptroller General of Customs (CGC), Col. Hameed Ali (rtd), through his Deputy, Human Resources Development, Sanusi Umar, during a briefing at the NCS headquarters in Abuja on Tuesday, April 16.
The NCS portal was opened by 12:00am on Wednesday, April 17, and will last for three weeks.
The Comptroller General explained that the recruitment is tailored to accommodate 800 Support Staff for Superintendent Cadre category, and 2,400 Staff for Customs Inspector and Customs Assistant Cadre in the General Duty category.
Giving the site address as www.vacancy.customs.gov.ng, he assured of a hitch-free process throughout the online application period, adding that the recruitment notice is being carried by seven national dailies from Wednesday 17, with a web portal for applications created as a sub-domain of the NCS website.
While he assured of a hitch-free process during the three-week period of the online application submission, the Comptroller warned members of the public to ignore fraudsters and who may be operating illegal sites and portals in order to collect money from applicants and dupe them.
