NGO Set to Empower Secondary School Students

A Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) with the mission of eradicating the prevalence of sexual abuse on children, child abuse, armed robbery, cultism, drug abuse and other related vices found among youths in secondary schools is set to intellectually empower secondary school students in Uyo.

The event will take place on Friday, February 8 at Etoi Secondary School, Uyo by 10am.

Addressing newsmen in Uyo, President and Founder of the NGO, Mr. David John, noted that the seminar is going to be free for Secondary School Students within Uyo.

“As it is in our manner, we will be embarking on a one-day seminar for secondary school students tagged: Conscious Living, A panacea for personal growth.

As part of our activities, we will be taking the students on digital skills, online marketing, entrepreneurial studies, public speaking etc.


I want to further State that the seminar is totally free for our students and any other person who wishes to partake”

He stressed that the NGO is aimed at building respect for self and for others among the youths, and also to develop their innate abilities.
He also called on the government, and public-spirited members of the public to support the project to a success.
