Miss Jane Gam-Dede is considered by many as a multi-entrepreneur for sake of her talent, interest and exploits in various sectors of the creative industry. The Twon-Brass indigene from Bayelsa state grew from establishing a print media – Dip Creek Magazine, which helped in converting her passion for fashion into business in 2014. Dip Creek was later renamed ‘Twon’ in 2014, after her community of origin.

Born to late Mr. & Mrs. Bio Gam-dede on the 8th of June, Jane studied Theatre Arts from the University of Port Harcourt and also holds a Higher National Diploma in Journalism from the International Institute of Journalism.

The former Beauty Queen wore the Miss Rivifest ‘99 crown, Miss Nigeria Eastern Zone, Miss Surulere and was runner up in pageantries including Miss Rivers State FM and Miss NTA Enugu. She made her debut into the movie industry in February 2017 with the movie “A Step too Far”, before proceeding to start her own production company called JGD Production.

Filled with an I-can-do spirit as a beauty queen, publisher/editor, fashion designer, actress and producer, Jane has been able to successfully combine multiple careers with an aim to be a role model to young men and women in her region and country. 

JGD Production in 2018 produced its first cinematic movie titled “Besieged”, a story written and acted by herself. The story addresses the issue of Mental Health in the society today; narrating the ordeal of ‘fighting a war in one’s head’. The movie, BESIEGED will be showing in the cinemas nationwide from August 30, 2019.
