Governors of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Monday, June 10, met in Abuja ahead of the 9th National Assembly (NASS) inauguration coming up on Tuesday, June 11.
The meeting which was held behind closed doors, had Mr. Ifeanyi Ubah, Senator-elect of the Young Progressives Party (YPP), and the APC caucus of the incoming National Assembly in attendance, Platinum.ng gathered.
Speaking with newsmen, Chairman of the APC Governors forum, Atiku Bagudu of Kebbi state, explained that their meeting was to ensure that the Party’s interests were not abandoned by the lawmakers after the inauguration.

It would be recalled that the APC Governors met on Sunday, June 9, in Abuja, and endorsed Senator Ahmed Lawan as their choice candidate for the position of Senate president.
