The Akwa Ibom State Governor, Mr. Udom Emmanuel, on Wednesday 5th of  December, 2018 was at the closing ceremonies of the Orientation Course for Batch ‘C’ Stream II Akwa Ibom and Rivers States National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members deployed to Akwa Ibom State.

At the Orientation Camp in Ikot Itie Udung, Nsit Atai Local Government Area where the ceremony took place, Governor Emmanuel commended the Corps members for their resilience and comportment during the orientation course and charged them to bring their integrity to bare by exhibiting high level of probity in the responsibilities assigned to them during their service year.

Of the Two Thousand and Five (2005) Corps members who participated in the Orientation Course, one thousand one hundred and eighty-eight would carry out their primary assignments in Akwa Ibom while eight hundred and seventeen would be deployed to Rivers State.

In their separate remarks, the Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Sir Monday Uko and the NYSC State Coordinator, Mr. O. J. Amusan both commended the Governor for his kind disposition towards corps members.
