A’Ibom will soon Attain Zero-Pothole – Prince Ntuk Udeh


Saddled with the responsibility of ensuring that every failed portion of road in Akwa Ibom State is given remedial treatment while the rainy season lasts, Prince Godwin Ntuk Udeh, Chairman of the Akwa Ibom State Roads and Other Infrastructure Maintenance Agency (AKROIMA) on Tuesday, September 15, led members of the agency to inspect the rehabilitation of Ukana Offot Street, Port Harcourt Street, Baptist Church Road, H – Line (Ewet Housing Estate) all in Uyo Local Government Area.

Speaking with newsmen, Prince Godwin Ntuk Udeh stated that the intervention project was in line with Governor Udom Emmanuel’s drive to give her people quality and good road networks, following the outcry on potholes within the Uyo metropolis, especially on Edet Akpan Avenue, (Four Lanes) connecting Ewet Housing, Nsikak Eduok (Two lanes), Ukana Offot streets and its environs.

The AKROIMA Boss also stated that it became necessary for the Akwa Ibom State Government through the Agency to redouble its effort towards ensuring that Akwa Ibom State attains zero pothole level before the end of Governor Udom Emmanuel’s administration.

He revealed and announced that the next phase of road rehabilitation exercise in the state will be at Oron, Eket and Etim Ekpo Local Government Areas of the state.

The Chairman was accompanied by board members Sylvanus Udoh, Israel Utit, Uduot Jack, Iniekpo Akpanekpo and other agency staff.
