Information Commissioner Assumes Duty

Barely eighteen hours after being inaugurated as Commissioner, and barely twelve hours after being deployed to the Ministry of Information, Charles Udoh, has assumed duty at the Ministry.

Exchanging pleasantries with staff in his office on Friday, July 12, Udoh assured of his commitment to work towards justifying the confidence reposed on him by Governor Udom Emmanuel, through his reappointment into the State Executive Council.

The Commissioner averred that by re-appointing all former members of his cabinet, the Governor has displayed what he described as “an unprecedented leadership skill in Governance”.

Remarking that his reappointment into the State Executive Council places a lot of responsibility on him, Charles Udoh added that it has also attracted great expectations from Akwa Ibom people who voted massively for the Governor.

He expressed appreciation to Governor Emmanuel for his reappointment and pledged his contribution to the success of the Governor’s second term Completion Agenda, which he noted, will engender unparalleled development in all sectors of the state.

Udoh reiterated his unalloyed loyalty and support for Governor Udom  Emmanuel for finding him worthy to continue in service to the people and implored the people to embrace the development programmes of Governor Emmanuel in his ongoing drive at making Akwa Ibom State a destination of choice.
