A statement from the office of the Minister of Youths and Sports, Mr. Sunday Dare, has revealed that he has relocated his office to the MKO Abiola National Stadium, Abuja.

The statement which was issued by his Assistant Director, Press, in the ministry, Mr Ramon Balogun, on Thursday, October 3, has it that the move was “in line with his promise to ensure that the nation’s sports facilities were restored to become fully functional”.

“It is also a sharp departure from what has been regarded as the norm in the past,” it stated.

The Minister who noted that he will be working from the stadium some days of the week, added that the Youths and Sports ministry was “a critical artery to Nigeria’s human capital development”.

He maintained that the Ministry will leverage on the pivotal advantage expressed in the National Youth Policy for socio-economic empowerment of our youths, while emphasizing on the importance of communication to youth and sports development.

He again emphasised his determination to give the youths of Nigeria the needed support for their growth and development.
