A statement by the Council of Legal Education has shown that 850 students passed the Bar Final Resit examinations of April 2019, while 724 failed.
A breakdown of the scores by the Director-General of the Council, Prof. Isa Chiroma, reveals that 1,680 candidates participated in the exams; 850 of were successful, 34 had a conditional pass, while 724 of them failed.
“This translates into a 50.60 percent pass rate, a conditional pass rate of 2.02% and a fail rate of 43.10%”, the statement reads.

It also announces that the Call-to-Bar ceremony for the successful candidates will take place in Abuja on Tuesday, July 9, 2019.
